The 4 Pillars Legacy Trust was established by Victor Mandawa as Settlor and Chairperson, together with five co-trustees — his wife and four sons — to preserve the Mandawa family legacy and build sustainable communities for generations to come.

Accountability

Decision Making

All Trust decisions are made by majority vote of the Board of Trustees. The Chairperson holds a casting vote in the event of a tied vote.

Voluntary Service

Trustees serve voluntarily without remuneration. Reasonable expenses and allowances may be resolved by the Board for specific duties.

Conflict of Interest

Any Trustee with a direct or indirect interest in a matter must declare it in writing and abstain from voting on that matter.

Accounting & Auditing

Proper accounting records are maintained. The Board may appoint independent auditors to review Trust finances annually.

Deed Amendment

Amendments to the Trust Deed require a resolution of ≥75% of Trustees and must be consistent with applicable Zimbabwean law.

Trustee Indemnity

Trustees are indemnified against liabilities arising from good-faith actions taken in the performance of their duties.

Perpetual Existence

The Trust exists in perpetuity unless terminated by unanimous Trustee resolution in accordance with the laws of Zimbabwe.

Powers of Trustees

Trustees may acquire property, open bank accounts, invest Trust funds, enter contracts, appoint advisors, and establish sub-programmes.

Victor Phinias Mandawa is the Settlor and founding Chairperson of 4 Pillars Legacy Trust. As the patriarch of the Mandawa family, he established the Trust in 2026 with a vision to preserve the family's heritage and build sustainable communities for generations to come. Victor's leadership is rooted in faith and guided by a deep commitment to the Mandawa ancestral legacy in Shurugwi, Midlands Province.
